They steal from the best. We didn't say it...they did...honestly. Heart On is the third release(mathematically) from the quirky L.A. duo, Eagles of Death Metal. The reason we say "mathematically" is probably because at this point in a band's journey we expect them to venture away from what got them there. Usually some kind of experimental bullshit that doesn't really matter to fans but to the band it sounds "progressive". In our minds it doesn't sound like a third release. Anyways, EODM have stuck with what got them there. We're talking about really addictive rock riffs and downright laughable vocals. Listening to this album reminds us of the first time we popped Peace, Love, Death Metal into the cd player of the 1991 Volvo station wagon and rocked all the way home.
