Ian Thomas - Poor Children (Live)

He's a harmonica playin' fool. We discovered Ian Thomas just recently but we wish we'd found him earlier. Almost like a combination of early Jack White (with The Upholsterers or the first Stripes record) and Bob Dylan. Take a listen to Poor Children, and then head over to his myspace to get a taste of the kazoo and some yodeling. Buy his album, A Young Man's Blues.

Little Milton - Feel So Bad

Unlike our Chuck Berry post from a few days ago, there's nothing in the way of historical significance with this post. We just think its a phenomenal song. Was on the top 100 Pop charts and actually climbed to #7 on the R&B charts after its release in 1967. Trust us we'd love to be able to link you to itunes for a purchase of this lovely track, however it doesn't exist in their database. In fact...good luck finding a copy anywhere. Unless you have a crate of dust-covered 45s in the mildewy basement of your childhood home in Detroit, you're shit outta luck. Amoeba music in L.A. maybe? Might as well enjoy it while its here...
